What is Xanthos

Xanthos makes document imaging easy and affordable.

Xanthos is a full-featured, simple-to-use, general purpose document imaging system that uses commonly available TWAIN interface scanners. Xanthos allows you to scan, index, store, retrieve, and distribute images of documents of varied sizes, such as letters, purchase orders, mailings, and bills.

For demo and single use purposes, it has a simple flat-file local database. Production versions utilize the easily available MySQL database engine, client-server networkable on either Windows or Linux servers.

Xanthos is designed to run on Windows Workstations (WIN2000, Windows ME, XP).
