Merchant capture
Merchant capture provides
outlying points of service with the ability to collect check images
and MICR lines on the spot, validate those images and data, and
forward them to a central location for further processing. Central
to this concept is use of an inexpensive yet powerful scanner
to quickly gather the image and data and send it on. The image
capture devices may be either part of a LAN/WAN or independent,
utilizing an internet connection only to provide the transport.
TEKScan and TEKScanRC use an inexpensive Magtek scanner to capture MICR information and image the check, and provides the information needed for back office conversion.
ChekDirect is designed to be used with and maximize the potential of Digital Check and Canon two-sided scanners, providing merchants with a cost-effective way of capitalizing on this innovation in check handling, while providing check endorsement capability at the same time.
