- October 2006. Xanthos, an affordable and easy to use document imaging system, is released to market to expand business imaging capabilities and provide an electronic "file cabinet" for business documents and products such as Excel spreadsheets.

Power encoding directly on image for T8000
Encoder users
- April 2005. ChekScan integrates with wireless
teller terminals and back-end servers to allow simplified branch
capture with power encoding. The system also handles internal
transaction documents, allowing branch managers to monitor their
position anytime during the day, and validate (POD) teller activity
on an ongoing basis.

Remittance processing options
- March 2005. Payments! processes payment coupons
and checks, reads the customer ID and expected amount, and creates
an input file for the accounting system, while allowing instant
lookup of payments for customer service personnel.
- TAXMANager assists county treasurers in managing
property tax payments, with multiple checks covering one bill,
and one check covering multiple bills.

ChekAssure (Image Quality Assurance for Check
21)
- October 2004. All versions of ChekScan now
include ChekAssure, a quality control module plug-in designed
to meet the requirements of DSTU X9.37 (specifications for electronic
exchange of check and image data). It detects skewed, too small
or too large, dog eared, piggybacked or streaked images, in
order to provide a platform for reliable automated check imaging
for feeding into a Check 21 transaction system.

Product expansion, integration and alliances
- ACHLink connects the scanner and ChekScan with the ACH Network for processing.
- TEKScan allows small volume check handlers
to utilize many of the features of ChekScan, using a single-feed,
front-only check scanner rather than a batch scanner.
- ChekScan now integrates with
Legato document imaging software, feeding information in
a usable format into the larger system. ChekScan now interfaces
with the Legato application extender for automatic uploading
of images
- WitsEnds Software is now an authorized developer
for ClearCheck's EndPointExchange, using ChekScan for branch
capture. EndPointExchange provides a mechanism to settle checks
directly between member banks using images and MICR instead
of paper.

Worldwide check imaging now available
- September 2004. ChekScan Pro can now be
used as an internet check scanner system utilizing FTP image
transfer to a central location anywhere in the world. ChekScan
SQL Workgroup can act as a dedicated FTP server for secure transfer
of images from remote scanning stations anywhere on the internet.

Microfilm replacement at multiple community
bank sites
- July 2004 - ChekScan replaces microfilmers
at Colorado Independent Community Banks. Peak National Bank,
with six branches in the Denver Metro Area, has image-enabled
its branches replacing aging and expensive-to-fix microfilmers.

Automatic batch encoder simplifies, expands
encoding options
- July 2004. WitsEnds Software enters into
joint venture with TIMEC Inc to produce a revolutionary power
encoding system. The new system utilizes wireless teller workstations,
ChekScan back end servers and the new TIMEC T8000 automatic
batch encoder to combine power encoding, secure wireless technology
and ChekScan imaging to change the way branch encoding works!

Multi-location versatility on West Coast
- May 2004. ChekScan SQL Workgroup is now operational
at 16 branches of Pacific Northwest Credit Union, tying all
branches together with real-time check imaging.

Proof of deposit installation on East Coast
- February 2004. ChekScan MySQL Workgroup is
now automating East Coast bank with proof of deposit system,
centralizing images, feeding in-house imaging system and core
financials.
